Theressa Smith has proudly served as the High School Principal at Colegio Franklin D. Roosevelt, The American School of Lima, Peru for the past 9 years. She previously served as the High School Principal at the American International School of Guangzhou, China, and the Anglo-American School of Moscow, Russia. Throughout her professional learning journey, Theressa has had the privilege to teach across many different learning environments and programs, while continuously seeking to build a sustainable learning culture around the core principles of social-emotional learning and student wellbeing within each school community. She is currently completing her EdD in Leadership & Innovation with Arizona State University, focusing on action research to redesign the high school learning experience.
