Lizzie is an experienced educational leader with over 30 years spent in international education from Canada to the Dominican Republic to Bahrain to Singapore, where she was Head of UWCSEA (Dover Campus) until 2022. Upon her return to Canada, she was excited to support Amala in their journey towards accreditation with CIS and NEASC. In April Lizzie was appointed as Amala's Director of Education Programmes. Every day presents new opportunities and challenges for the Amala team members based in Kakuma Camp, Kenya; Amman, Jordan; Athens, Greece; Singapore and England, UK as we strive to use the power of education to transform the lives of refugees, their communities and the world. It is such a privilege to collaborate with this dedicated team of professionals as well as our amazing students and alumni.
