About me
Polly Akhurst is the Co Executive Director of Amala Education (formerly Sky School), which has created the first high school diploma programme for refugee youth. Polly is driven by a passion for educational models that enable young people to make positive change in the world. She has acted as a working group leader of the OECD’s Education 2030 project which focuses on competencies learners need for the future. Polly is an alumnus of UWC Atlantic, and previously worked for UWC International, the coordination body of the UWC movement.
