About me
Hesham Abdeen has 26 years of experience in American and British education. He has extensive experience in leading English department across Primary and Secondary schools in the UAE. He has taught in the USA and UAE. Hesham has held various professional jobs, including teaching secondary English, Department Head, Curriculum Developer across all jobs sought, Academic Advisor, and most recent Head of Accreditation and Evaluations at BEAM Creative Science Schools in Dubai and Sharjah since 2017. He inspects school in a Subject area, Curriculum, Teaching, Learning & Assessment and Health and Safety, in particular, Safeguarding and Child Protection. Hesham works closely with NEASC CIE Accreditation since 2015. Consultant inspector with Educational Development Trust and Inspector of British Schools Overseas (BSO) since 2023. He has been part of inspection teams and inspected schools in Egypt, UAE, Hong Kong, and acts as a lead inspector for all BEAMS internal inspections. He has supported schools in Egypt and UAE on an ‘Improvement through Inspection’ visits to uplift schools development efforts. Hesham continues to lead on Accrediting and Evaluating all 6 BEAM schools.
