Join leaders in technology, education, and program design for a deep dive into demystifying AI in education. This full-day workshop will equip school leaders with the understanding and resources they need to navigate this new age and address its implications for our teaching, learning, and systems. Gain a comprehensive understanding of AI's potential, its impact on educational outcomes, and the ethical considerations surrounding its implementation. In this interactive pre-conference session, participants will engage in thought-provoking discussions to discover the opportunities AI presents for transforming education in schools and walk away with resources that will provide immediate guidance for your institution.

Technology leaders from NEASC schools will share details of the AI journey of their schools and what challenges and successes they've had along the way. Presenters will also address key questions such as: what is the role of students in shaping AI guidance? What impacts does AI have on advancing equity? and, can AI assist with teacher and leader burnout?

No matter your comfort or skill level with technology or your school’s philosophy on AI, this workshop welcomes learners at all stages of understanding and experience.

IMPORTANTPlease note that general conference registration is required in order to sign up for a pre-conference workshop and that there is an additional fee to attend. If you already registered for the conference but did not add the workshop on at the time and would now like to, please contact mlarson@neasc.org.
